Sesame, Honey & Lavender Body Polish

Here is one of our favorite recipes for a wonderful “Home Spa” Treatment! It’s a perfect way to rid your body of that winter-dry skin and you’ll love how relaxed you’ll feel afterwards.

Honey has been prized since antiquity, especially in Asian cultures, as a humectant and skin conditioner. In this recipe, we combine it with lavender and sesame seeds to moisturize and leave the skin silky smooth.

3 TBSP sesame seeds
2 TBSP Fractionated Coconut Oil (or Sweet Almond Oil)
1 TBSP Raw Honey
3 drops Lavender Essential Oil
1 TBSP dried mint leaves

Directions: Chop the sesame seeds in a coffee grinder until powdery smooth. Pour the sesame seeds into a small bowl ad add the remaining ingredients. Stir until smooth. Heat the ingredients in the microwave on low for about 10 seconds. Moisten skin with warm water. Apply the mixture liberally in a circular motion to tone and exfoliate the skin. Rinse off with warm water. Enjoy!
